Christmas caroling for fun with the family

Christmas caroling for fun with the family
Guest post written by May Puller

We've tried out many different family traditions around the holidays to see what would stick. We even had a gingerbread house making competition one year, which you can imagine was a huge mess. But one thing that's stuck over the years is going Christmas caroling. I think it's because it's something that we all enjoy so much and after the first year the neighbors wouldn't not let us continue the tradition because they just enjoyed it so much!

I was online looking up some simple sheet music for some Christmas carols for that purpose when I ran across the website hearingaids.miracle-ear.com. I looked through it some and after that I decided to go and get a hearing aid test.

We're going to sing some of our favorites this year, but I also want to sing Silver Bells just because I've always loved that song. It wonÕt hurt the kids to get acquainted with one of the best Christmas carols, in my opinion. I think that our neighbors are going to really like our rendition of the Christmas classic.

Adjusting budget to wife quitting job

Adjusting budget to wife quitting job

Posted by Von Battle

My wife just quit her job. While she enjoyed all of the people she worked with, she could not stand her boss. She would come home with stories that were almost unbelievable. There were even some nights she would be crying and upset because of something her boss said. After many nights of long discussions, we decided it was no longer worth it. My wife’s happiness was the most important thing and if that meant she had to quit her job, then that is what it meant. At first she was worried about how this would affect our budget. To be honest, I think we were both worried about budget. However, we were able to lower our television bill with great directv deals. She packs my lunch every day, which saves at least ten dollars a day. We are doing a wonderful job making this work. My wife and I make a great team and I will always do whatever I can to make her happy. She is the most important person in my life and she will always be.

Neato home and garden stuff!

I was driving through a neighborhood today and noticed that there are so many different kinds of mailboxes.  I think when most people think of a mailbox, they think of the standard round top with a flat bottom.  You can get everything from a standard mailbox to a contemporary mailbox on the internet now-a-days.  There are endless possibilities and sytles to choose from.  From personalized with your favorite sports team logo, to even a black plastic container that reminds me of something at work that mail piles up in.  All I know is that I need one big enough that I can fit my vintage tea set in it!  Ok well at least something that fits the little paper that says I have a package for pick up at the post office. LOL

Canada Post

Every office has a computer, but what about the other office and business machines needed to keep your office running at peak capacity? Find everything you need right here to stay plugged in and turned on to your business. Keep track of employee attendance with electronic timesheets, and stay organized using a handheld labeller to ensure everything has a place. Offices can never be without photocopiers, fax machines and paper shredders, and other businesses will find secure cash registers, barcode scanners, thermal and impact receipt printers, and laminators very useful. No matter what kind of business you’re running, find great prices on all your machinery needs.

There's always a need for stationery.  Whether it's at home or at the office.  Countless tasks that the wife has me do includes the need for all kinds of stationary.  I guess that's what I get for knowing how to use the computer.  There's so many different things that are utilized from office supplies.

If you're starting a small business these items are defiantly essential to operations.  From cash registers to shredders and label makers to laminators, office supplies are what makes the world go round.

What the heezy?!!?

Whenever I'm completely sober, I can't seem to write a whole sentence without losing thought.  When I've had a couple of beers, on the other hand, it seems that I'm able to write better.  Does anyone else have this "problem" or am I the only one, alone in this world.  It seems that when I drink, words come easier to type.  However, when I'm completely sober, I can't seem to post anything even if I was paid for it.  So I ask you, one maybe two readers that read this, does this seem to have an effect on you as well?   Does drinking alcohol make it easier to put together thoughts and make it easier to write things?  It seems to do the trick for me!

The Daily Show Is Great Late Night Programming

The Daily Show is Great Late Night Programming

Guest post from: Joe Castro

The Daily Show is one of my favorite TV shows and I think it's by far the best late night program on the air. But I have to get up early for work, and I'm rarely still awake when it comes on. I'm so glad that I can it watch free on demand on satellite TV from WWW.satellite911.coM. How would I get my Jon Stewart fix without it? Stewart is an amazing host. It's so refreshing for a TV personality to have such an intellectual grasp on so many important issues of the day. He may be one of the best interviewers on TV. I always enjoy the eclectic topics that he discusses with his guests. Don't get me wrong, I think that Stewart and The Daily Show are hysterical. But I find them so funny because of the satirical nature of their humor.

In addition to funnyman Stewart, I am also a big fan of Samantha Bee. A long-time veteran of the show, her sketches as a correspondent never fail to amuse me. The rants of Lewis Black are another favorite of mine. And the catchy headlines in the opening fake news segment always make me smile.

Viral Marketing Campaign

Hi everyone.  If you were going to start a viral marketing campaign, what would your tactics be?  Would you go for a funny approach?  Or perhaps a mysterious theme to intice the view to find out more?  Maybe you'd make a video with a lot of puppies and kittens to soften the viewers hearts?  How can I make money online?I'd love to hear your ideas and what you would do with them.  Post your comments below.
